YTKO is the business development company appointed by South West RDA to deliver two Convergence funded support programmes.
Partner to Succeed is working with Cornish businesses to develop collaborations, enabling them to share knowledge and extend their reach.

Outset Cornwall is supporting business start ups by people from under-represented groups in the county – women, disabled people, over 50s and ethnic minorities.

mpad worked with the Partner to Succeed team to raise awareness of two launch events, one for partner organisations and another large scale event at the Eden Project aimed at businesses.

We set up a Twitter profile and Facebook fan page, advising YTKO’s in-house web developer on how to best use these tools in conjunction with their website.

We also teamed up with BusinessCornwall.co.uk, which attended the Eden launch, to generate extensive, same day coverage and generate debate online about business collaboration.

Following this successful project, mpad was asked to support Outset Cornwall for their launch event. mpad created case studies around two new business start ups by women entrepreneurs, and blogged live from the event using Cover It Live, which was fed immediately onto www.businesscornwall.co.uk

Programme director for Partner to Succeed Helen Trudgeon said: "We chose to use mpad for the PR surrounding our Partner to Succeed launch because we were impressed with the level of their knowledge of the local press and media.
